The Cat ate my Homework (almost)

The other day, I was sick and had to stay home from school. I had a lot of homework, so I did some, but then I started not feeling too cheery again, so I stopped and decided to read a book.

*is reading book in super-comfy chair*

Smokey: *claws at door* Meow! (open up)

Me: *gets up and opens door for Smokey* Hello, kitty!

Smokey: *walks in* Prrrow! (hello, human)

I go and sit back down to read, after shutting the door.

Later:
Smokey : Mphrrow! (yum, this paper sure is good)

Me: *looks up* Smokey!

Smokey: *munch* Perrrow? (what?)


Well, it was almost worth it when I saw my French teacher's face when I had to explain to him that my homework was all hole-y and torn up because the cat ate it.
